Holistic Microneedling, or Holistic Collagen Induction Therapy, is a non-invasive procedure utilizing a small pen with 16 tiny needles that is passed over the entire face or neck & décolletage area to promote your body to heal signs of aging and truly turn back the clock. With minimal downtime and a series of sessions only needing to be performed once per month, this is the perfect natural, non-toxic solution for busy moms or men & women on-the-go.
Body and auricular acupuncture are included in your visit, which means you will experience additional health benefits and the wonderful “acupuncture high” after your session. If there is a more chronic issue you would like to focus on in addition to Microneedling, you can come in for traditional acupuncture between your facial sessions. What is Holistic Microneedling?
Holistic Microneedling is similar to the conventional form in the way the area of concern is treated with a microneedling pen. Where the two differentiate is in the approach. With Holistic Microneedling, your entire being is taken into consideration. A complete history, intake and Chineses Medical Tongue and Pulse diagnostics will be
performed so acupuncture points on the body can support your treatment, minimize the cause behind your concerns and provide an extra level of relaxation. Ear and scalp acupuncture also accompany these treatments to stimulate the muscles responsible for keeping our face lifted giving this a unique approach to anti-aging skincare.
What to expect with a Holistic Microneedling treatment

The initial treatment involves before photos and an intake to understand any imbalances in your system as well as what your main focus is. We will go over a brief health, lifestyle and skin history, which includes tongue and pulse diagnostics. Our Holistic Microneedling sessions are set up similar to a massage; you will be asked to undress to your comfort level and get tucked between soft sheets on a heated and padded massage table.

We will then begin with cleansing the skin and applying a light topical numbing cream to the area of concern. While that sits, we will go over any additional health concerns, check your tongue and pulse and apply body and ear acupuncture points to support your treatment and provide relaxation.

After removing the numbing cream, we prepare the skin with toner and serum and begin Microneedling. Overall the process is quick and you will experience little to no pain.

We apply a soothing and cooling sheet mask and give a lymphatic draining chest, neck and scalp massage while the mask works its magic. All skincare used is toxin-free, cruelty-free, plant based and organic when possible (some chinese herbs cannot be sourced organically).

Depending on your goals, you will need between 4-6 sessions one month apart. Any issues that may reoccur (fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots…) will need single tune-up visits every 6 months or can be addressed with another series of treatments.
For added benefit, acupuncture facials and nano-needling can be done between Microneedling sessions.

Results can be seen as early as two weeks after your treatment but may take up to a month as it takes 30 days for complete cell turnover. With proper care, lifestyle and routine tune-up visits, results can last up to 5 years for recurring concerns or are permanent for scars.
Steps for Care

Three days before you come in please avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication, drinking alcohol, or taking fish oil to reduce chances of pin-point bleeding.

Avoid exercise as sweat can cause irritation of the skin. Do not wash your face or use makeup. Avoid sun exposure and wear a hat! Your skin may be red for 8-12 hours after treatment, this is due to the amount of stimulation the superficial layers have just received.

Hydrate skin twice per day. If you experience dry or flaking skin, you may gently exfoliate with a soft washcloth to expedite recovery. Do not use a strong physical or chemical exfoliant. Avoid exfoliating if your skin is still feeling sensitive, that will subside soon.

Apply sunscreen daily and avoid extended and direct sun exposure. Don’t forget that hat! Continue to hydrate skin 1-2 times per day.

Return to usual skincare routine or begin incorporating new methods discussed during your care.
Can I have Holistic Microneedling if
I’ve had a facelift, fillers or botox injections?
Yes. If you are wanting to receive Microneedling in the area where any of these procedures were performed, you will need to wait 6 months afterwards before coming in.
We do not recommend Microneedling if you currently:
Take blood thinners
Are on chemo or radiation
Have moderate to severe skin conditions (psoriasis, rosacea, eczema, active acne, active infection, warts, active herpes outbreak)
Experience severe keloids
Are Pregnant
